On the afternoon of 11th October,Director Dr. Zheng Jiayi and Deputy Director Mr. Tim Honader with International Department of College of the Canyons paid an official visit to Anqing Foreign Language School,during which they chaired a course of lectures intended for 12th grade students about relevance on studying abroad issues in the United States of America.Madam President Huang Wenli and Madam Li Xia with HongCheng Education Group kept them company.Dr. Zheng and Mr. Tim Honader were very much impressed by our students’ interaction and the enthusiastic atmosphere.
10.20 AM on the morning of 12th October,the appointed foreign teacher Madam Katie from COC showcased a demonstration lesson with all students from the study-abroad class in terms of ESL Listening&Speaking.The students actively cooperated with Katie in that they displayed their authentic level to 10th grade teachers,students as well as some parents.After class,Dr. Zheng made some comments on Katie’s class and delivered an ebullient speech regarding higher education in the USA.All students attending listened attentively to the speech,gained knowledge and expanded their outlook.
Following the meeting,Dr. Zheng from COC made face-to-face communication with some parents and also answered their concerned issues on overseas studies respectively.
